Hi, my name is Rhonda Pickett and this is going to an uninteresting blog about what is going on in my life.

I have been married to Michael for over 13 years; we met thru a friend at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.   For those that know us know that we are about as opposite as it can get:

• he is steadfast and solid while I tend to be a little more ”out there”
• he is likes to see what is going on before committing and I tend to jump in the deep end of the pool
• he used to put the glasses in the cabinet down side up and I put them in up side up (can you tell who won that battle)
• he is pretty quiet (except with those that he is comfortable with) and I will talk to anyone and everyone no matter where we are
• he likes video games….I think they are ridiculous
• i like dramas and chick flicks and he likes action movies
• he is a homebody and I get cabin fever if I am home for more than a couple of hours
• he likes to follow a budget and I think what is in our checking account is our budget for my shopping  :)

needless to say there has been alot of disagreements in our life until we learned to live and love these things about the other. 

One of the drastic changes we made recently was to move to Norcross, GA from Conway, AR.  This has been a serious change for us; Michael started down another career path, we left our friends and relatives, but it has given us an opportunity to renew and repair what was needed in our marriage.  Now we are stronger than ever and are about to take on another challenge….should we become foster parents?
